Estación Tequila Express

This train station is conceived in a contemporary style with strong regional roots, where the architecture directly engages with the identity of Tequila, Jalisco. The project incorporates traditional elements such as exposed brick, arches, and solid proportions, reinterpreting them in a clean and modern way, while the addition of wood, latticework, and vegetation brings warmth and a human scale to the space.

One of the most significant gestures is the allusion to the agave plant, present both in the graphic elements and in the overall atmosphere of the project, evoking the origin of tequila and connecting the space with its cultural context. The sequence of arches, the interior courtyards, and the double-height spaces create an immersive spatial experience, where light, shadows, and materiality construct a serene and welcoming environment.

The result is an architecture that transcends the functional to become a space of identity and narrative, where tradition and contemporaneity intertwine to offer an authentic experience, deeply linked to the place.
